1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne C10 2WD Long Wide Box

This truck is mostly original and unrestored. I am the third owner and purchased the truck in the Spring of 2008. It was my daily driver until the Summer of 2014 when it was parked in my garage.

This is a factory 402 big block TH400 auto truck with many options including AM/FM radio, power steering, power disc brakes, two tone exterior, and rally wheels. This truck was originally sold in Dallas Texas and has stayed in the DFW area it’s entire life. The body appears to have all it’s original metal and trim. This truck is 99% rust free. The only rust I have found is at the bottom of the tailgate. No rust in the rockers, cab corners, floor, upper windshield, fenders, or doors like so many of these have. It was repainted in the early 90’s with a base coat and clear coat of similar original colors. The interior is completely original aside from the reupholstered seat.

When I bought the truck I replaced the original intake with a Edelbrock Performer, headers, dual exhaust, hoses, belts, Custom Autosound stock replacement stereo, etc. The original A/C was inoperable, so I upgraded it with a new Vintage Air system with 134A freon. All of the original parts will go with the truck – AC, AM/FM radio, smog pump, exhaust manifolds, overload springs, etc. A set of polished aluminum wheels in the bed plus other extra parts are included in the purchase. The tires on the truck and rebuilt TH400 have under 5000 miles on them. The engine burns and leaks oil and is the reason why it was parked in 2014. It does run and moves under it’s own power to load on a trailer or transport truck.

This truck is not like the ones you typically see. It’s not patched together with multiple colors, rust, and shady workmanship. This is an honest mostly original truck that will save you countless hours and dollars due to it’s nice condition. This is an excellent truck for LS/patina, SWB conversion, BBC/SBC upgrade, pro-touring, etc – the possibilities are endless.
