For sale is a rare ’74 F-350 Crew Cab

8′ bed, 460ci, automatic 2wd pickup. This is a once in a lifetime truck. It’s very original. The interior is beautiful with original bench seats. I bought it two years ago from the original owner (my neighbor). He bought it from Courtesy Ford in Littelton Colorado in 1974. The truck spent it’s life in Colorado, Idaho, then Utah. The original owner was an airline pilot and moved around a little over his career. The truck has never turned over it’s odometer. It has 71,048 original miles. It sat for the last 20 years in a garage.

I bought it and brought it back to life. After a mild tune up, it fired up like a champ. I then had a mechanic shop in Kaysville Utah complete $9k worth of work to make it road worthy. This included a transmission rebuild, brakes all around, carburetor rebuild, shocks, hoses, belts, fluids, 3 new transmission coolers, and many more items. I’ll include the invoice with the truck.

I’ll describe any issues I’m aware of as honestly as I can. The AC isn’t working right now, but all the original parts are there. The radio doesn’t work. The original owner cut a hole into the bed to mount a gooseneck. The tailgate was a little crunched by a fifth wheel. A CB antenna was mounted on the roof and later removed. The bolt hole allowed water to get into the roof and there is a fair amount of rust penetrarting the roof on both sides above the drip rails. I have sealed the roof holes with a thick vinyl adhesive to protect the truck until those issues can be addressed. The bed has a couple small rust spots. The dash pad has a fair amount of cracking. It was repainted at sometime by the original owner. He didn’t do the best job. There are a few runs and the clear coat is mostly gone. The paint looks good from a distance though. The jams show the original tint of green.
