This is a mostly completed restoration/modified truck. It is the longest fleetside bed ever made by chevy, It is 8′ 8″ inside the bed with tailgate closed. These were built to haul slide in camper units. We have removed the old wooden bed floor in preparation for replacing it with CCA wood or an 11 Ga.steel tread plate floor. We have the rusty original steel floor strips if you want a wood bed floor. It was originally sold with a 327″ motor and turbo 350 trans. we have replaced this with a rebuilt 1978 454″ motor and turbo 400 trans., Recent new Edelbrock performer carburetor installed. Lots more usable torque for towing or hauling heavy loads. GVW rating 7500 pounds. Just replaced the rocker panels and now have them primed. All gauges work except the temp guage and I will have that replaced will also be installed before auction ends. New door seals and rubber floor mat will be installed also. Rearend is a 4.50 to 1 ratio for towing or heavy loads. New windshield.
