1970 Chevy El Camino SS, 396, 4 speed, 12 bolt posi
Factory correct (code 48) forest green with a black bucket seat interior.
The body is straight and clean. It is truly as clean and solid as they come. The paint is immaculate as is the undercarriage, interior, engine bay, etc… You can tell this one has had an easy and pampered life. The metal throughout is immaculate. We cannot find any evidence of any patch work. The metal is amazingly clean throughout. Starting with an original pampered 1970 el camino super sport this was fully restored 5 years ago with very minimal wear since completion. Nothing was left untouched. Nearly every component was either restored, replaced or refinished. It truly tells a story on how pampered she has been. Factory tags were also placed to keep her authentic.
She has a rebuilt (non matching numbers) 396 ci Chevy big block engine. Upgraded with an HEI ignition, edelbrock aluminum intake, edelbrock carb, and a mild cam. She is beautifully dressed with a factory correct looking appearance with a little added chrome. Factory style tags, battery topper, etc… This beast sits in a beautifully detailed engine bay. This engine is very stout and pushes this car down the road with plenty of pep. She has a nice throaty sound.
Dual electric fans keep her nice and cool and keep the air conditioning nice and cold!
TH400 automatic transmission.
12 bolt posi rear with 3:31 gears. This rear end was only used in the l34 396 super sports in 1970.
There are several tell tale signs of the authenticity of the car being a true super sport such as the original 12 bolt rear, the dual fuel lines, correct prop valve, correct steering joint, etc…
Power disc brakes.
Power steering.
Dual exhaust that gives her a nice throaty rumble!
This car is beautiful and very sporty looking. This is true muscle!
Clean and solid bed.
Correct 14″ ss rims with 215/70r14 front and 245/60r14 rear bf goodrich radial ta radial raised white letter tires.
Beautiful black bucket seat interior. Everything is in very nice condition including the seat upholstery, door panels, dash, kick panels, carpet…etc. Operating lights, hazards, blinkers, hi-low beams, horn, heater, dome light, etc… All work as they should. Even the backup lights work. Aftermarket custom audio sound stereo. There is a small crack on dash pad above the steering wheel.
All of the chrome, stainless, emblems, and bright-work is newer and in beautiful condition throughout.
