This hard loaded ’77 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT 4×4 was sold new on June 4th 1977 at Holloman Ford INC in Cottage Grove, Oregon in remained in the state until we brought it back to North Carolina in January of this year. The Marti report in the photo gallery below lists all the options but some significant ones include air-conditioning, heavy-duty shocks, power steering, visibility group, protection group and of course the Ranger XLT Package.

This F-150 is powered by its original 400 V8 backed by a C6 Auto and NP205 part time 4×4 transfer case. It runs and drives and drives well. New US Indy slot mag wheels are fit with new BFGoodrich K02 tires

The Ranger XLT specific interior is in good shape! The tan vinyl and cloth bench seat is all original and in good shape overall with a few minor imperfections, its flanked by new tan carpet and all original instrumentation. All gauges and warning lights work. The dash pad and door panels are in good shape.

The truck is finished in its original Wimbledon White and mostly original paint but has had some touch up spots over the years as expected with a truck of this vintage. The truck has an awesome patina to it but does have some small scratches and bumps to it as you would expect for an unrestored truck body that’s 46 years old. The photos do a great job of showing the exterior condition. All the lights work. The bumpers, chrome trim and grille shell show very well. The original quality control inspector’s stamp is even still visible on the cowl.

This rare F-150 checks all the boxes of the perfect vintage truck!
