That’s a big block V8 stuffed into the engine bay. While 454 cubic-inches is enough for most folks, this has been bored to 461ci total. And the upgrades don’t stop there. This breathes in deeply with a dual set of Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors. It exhales with authority as headers feed the X-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust. GM’s TH400 three-speed automatic was made stout enough to handle all this power, and it feeds a strong 12-bolt rear end with Positraction and versatile 3.55 gears.
